Mayland Christmas Trees in Litchfield County, CT

Kirt Mayland surprised me with a visit to the ground breaking at the site of the new tree farm, and I was so excited to see construction underway!

It’s a wild flower meadow with old stone walls, a pond, and lots and lots of beautiful pines.

We will plant Douglas Firs each year, as well as pollinators and native vegetation.

Though it will take the trees a couple of years to grow, we will eventually be able to host family tree cutting weekends, bon fires and a hot cocoa cart under the market lights. .
