Kerri-Lee Mayland Signs on as Facebook Bulletin Creator

Joining select group of big names including Tan France, Erin Andrews, Mitch Albom and Malcolm Gladwell. 

AVON, CT — Emmy-award winning news anchor Kerri-Lee Mayland announced today the launch of THE REFRESH, a newsletter focused on design through Facebook’s new platform, Bulletin.

 Bulletin is a platform to help independent writers, experts, journalists and authoritative voices reach new audiences on Facebook. Bulletin brings together great writing and audio content — from podcasts to Live Audio Rooms — all in one place.

 “I’m thrilled to join this diverse group of writers and creators and connect with people across the world,” said Kerri-Lee Mayland. “I have worked with Facebook to give direct input on this new product, and I look forward to continuing to give feedback as it evolves.”

 Kerri-Lee is president of The Kerri-Lee Mayland Company. She is the founder of REFRESH, a boutique interior and exterior design firm based in Avon. Her weekly newsletter, THE REFRESH – focuses on the stories of people behind the design.

 Kerri-Lee and Bulletin writers will have an opportunity to foster deeper connections with their audiences on Facebook, through tools like Groups. 

 Kerri-Lee continues as a freelance anchor at NBC Connecticut. She revealed last month that a debilitating battle with Lyme disease kept her off the anchor desk during the 2020 pandemic. 

 “This is bringing all of my worlds together—my love of design and journalism,” Mayland said. “The timing couldn’t be better, as I launch my own business, and I’m excited to take everyone along for the ride.”
